Did You Know?

Founded in 2005, ZOOLOOK Records is the official record label of Multidisciplinary Artist and Musician ZOOLOOK.

In July 2005, Zoolook® launched his independent record label, Zoolook Records, with his first music release, an EP titled HITLESS, along with Deadmau5’s debut album, Get Scraped.

INSPIRATION

Origin of Zoolook?

The inspiration behind my artist name is attributed to the French electronic musician and composer Jean-Michel Jarre and his seventh studio album, which significantly inspired my journey as a multidisciplinary artist and musician. I’ve been a big fan of Jarre’s music (including Oxygène &  Équinoxe) since I learned to play the keyboards, self-taught at 12. The electro-funky energy from this album perfectly captures my personality: diverse, energetic, independent, and passionate!
